Double B Trucking's journey began in the heart of the Midwest in 1984, founded by Bob and Mary Bell. What started with a single 1973 farm truck for delivering feed ingredients to local farmers has evolved into a significant force in the agricultural transport sector. Our roots are deep in the values of hard work, dedication, and a commitment to supporting the farming community.

The late 80s and early 90s marked the beginning of our expansion, with Bob acquiring a new straight truck in 1990 and entering the tractor trailer arena in 1995. These strategic additions enabled us to broaden our services and reach more clients within the agricultural industry.

The legacy continued with the next generation when Joe, Bob and Mary's eldest son, joined the business in 2000. After obtaining his Commercial Driver's License (CDL), Joe balanced his education with his passion for trucking, driving for the family business during his free time. His commitment was further demonstrated in 2006 when he invested in his own truck and trailer, though he remained an integral part of the Double B team.

The turning point for Double B Trucking came in 2012 when Joe and his wife, Carissa, took the helm by acquiring the company's equipment from Bob and Mary. This transition not only signified a new chapter for the family business but also sparked rapid growth. Under their leadership, Double B Trucking LLC was officially formed, expanding its fleet to 23 trucks and 30 trailers dedicated to hauling bulk feed and agricultural products throughout the Midwest.

Our commitment to growth and excellence was further underscored in 2022 with the acquisition of a state-of-the-art five bay shop and office space in Wells, MN. This facility represents our dedication to quality, efficiency, and the continuous improvement of our operations.
